“When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.”
In collaboration with renowned photographer Bart Kuykens and with the full support of UNICEF UK, an unprecedented scale fine art print of Bart's iconic Emory Porsche 356 Chassis will launch this summer. With proceeds from the sale of Number 1/5 from the edition, being donated to UNICEF, the charity leading the largest vaccine procurement and supply operation ever: The Global COVAX Facility.
The aim of the initiative is to ensure that all countries participating (currently 190) have equitable access to 2 billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine by the end of 2021.
About the piece:
The limited edition will launch this summer on an unprecedented scale of 162 x 162cm and will be strictly limited to an edition of 5 with 1 artists proof.
The first in this series of fine art prints, number 1/5, is available to purchase directly from Bart Kuykens with immediate effect.
We thank Bart for his generosity in gifting the proceeds of this work and all other artists involved with Sleeping with Art for also supporting the cause.
Your support will be awarded with art:
We have set up a Justgiving page for donations to Unicef UK for the Covax initiative. Any donations of £200 and upwards will receive a 15 x 15cm signed print of this image via post, as a personal thank you from Bart. All you need to do is forward the receipt of your donation via email.
Gordon Glick, Deputy Executive Director, Partnerships and Philanthropy, UNICEF UK said:
‘We are delighted that Bart Kuykens and Sleeping with Art have chosen to raise funds for UNICEF UK. We are on a mission to deliver 2 billion COVID-19 vaccines around the world this year and money raised will help UNICEF ensure that no one is left behind’
